About Correll Cider Presses

Correll cider presses are available in five sizes. Our Heirloom presses are custom crafted utilizing American Eastern Ash. All Correll cider presses have wheels installed for easy transporting.

Junior Press

The Junior Press comes equipped with 8" wheels and a 4" shredder with a 1/2 hp motor.

  • Dimensions: 42" length, 35" high, 19" wide. Weight: 140 lbs.

  • Junior baskets are 10" high, and 7.5" ID

  • Yields approximately 2 to 3 quarts per squeeze

Medium Press

The Medium Press comes equipped with 8" wheels and a 5" shredder with a 1/2 hp motor.

  • Dimensions: 48" length, 39" high, 21" wide.  Weight: 170 lbs.

  • Medium Baskets are 12" high, 8.25" ID

  • Yields approximately 1 to 1.5 gallons per squeeze

Medium Plus Press

The Medium Plus Press comes equipped with 8" wheels and a 6" shredder with a 1/2 hp motor.

  • Dimensions: 54" length, 42" high, 23" wide. Weight: 190 lbs. 

  • Medium Plus Baskets: 12" high 9.25" ID

  • Yields approximately 2 gallons per squeeze

Built as tall as a Medium, but as wide and long as a Large.

Large Press

The Large Press comes equipped with 8" wheels and a 6" shredder, 1/2 hp motor.

  • Dimensions:  54" length, 42" high, 23" wide. Weight: 195 lbs.

  • Large Baskets are 14" high, 9.375" ID

  • Yields approximately 2+ gallons per squeeze

Jumbo Press

The Jumbo Press comes equipped with 8" wheels, a 7" shredder, and 1/2 hp motor.

  • Dimensions: 58" long, 45" high, 25" wide.  Weight: 230 lbs. 

  • Jumbo Baskets are 16" high and 10 3/4" ID

  • Yields approximately 3 gallons per squeeze

450 gallons of cider has been produced with the Jumbo Press in a single day.

Rely on Fall and Winter apples for the best cider. Experiment with combinations of 3 or more varieties. This has been known to yield some of the best flavors.

Many variables must be considered in apples used such as variety, stage of ripeness, etc. Unripe and cooking apples are dry, while over-ripe apples are mushy. Either condition will cause greatly reduced juice quantity. The early Summer apples do not make as rich a cider.
